Burundi - Single Origin

We’re super excited to bring you a new origin for us, made possible by Omwani Coffee Co. who specialise in sourcing East African speciality coffee direct from producers. Omwani has been supporting Migoti, a collection of washing stations in Burundi since 2020. The partnership guarantees a customer for Migoti with increasing volumes and always fair prices. This approach frees up Migoti to focus on sourcing more coffee, training and educating more farmers and making improvements to the quality of what they produce.

We’ve been enjoying this coffee equally as a filter or espresso based brews and especially banging over ice. The profile is soft, balanced and creamy with a long sweet finish of dried berry fruits and toffee. The body is nicely balanced and clean which makes for a delicious moreish brew.
